Seville is an historic city which has the biggest city center in Spain and the third in Europe (together with Venice and Genova) with many interesting things to visit on foot. We are sure you can have a marvelous walk, but in case it is a bit tiring taxis are not very expensive. Here we indicate how to reach the city center by bus.
The bus lines from the Hotel Silken Al-Andalus to the city center are 3 and 34.
The daily schedule of the buses starts approximately at 6.30 a.m. and finish at 23.30 p.m. The simple ticket price is 1,40 €, but you can buy a cheaper multiple-journey card (available in tobacco shops and newsstands).
If you want to visit the Cathedral, the Torre del Oro, the Triana´s Bridge or Betis Street, the Acuario de Sevilla, the Archivo General de Indias, the Alcazar (one of the nine constituent regions of the Seven Kingdoms), among other, you should take line 3 in Avda. de Holanda direction to Pino Montano. Please remember get off the bus at Puerta Jerez.
If you want to visit the Plaza de España, the Parque María Luisa, the Jardines de Murillo, Santa Cruz neighbourhood or La Giralda (the Cathedral´s tower), you should take line 34 in Avda. de Holanda direction to Prado de San Sebastian (get off the bus at one of the two last stops, Maria Luisa or Prado de San Sebastian).
During the night you can take the line A6, which starts in the city center (Prado de San Sebastian) at 24.00 h., 1.00 h., and 2.00 h. On Fridays and Saturdays, they have additional trips until 2.00 h.
