Virgili Páez (Palma de Mallorca, Spain, 1962) is Head of the Virtual Health Sciences Library of the Balearic Islands (Bibliosalut) since 2003, a digital library for health professionals of the Public Health System of the Balearic Islands (Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera).
He has a Degree in Documentation and a Postgraduate Degree in Library Planning and Management.
He has been working in health libraries for last 25 years.
He is working with his team in the continuous improvement and in the development of his library, with the planning of new services and the implementation of new kind of resources of scientific information.
