Official employee of Libraries, Archives and Museums since 1987 and Director of the University of Seville Library since 2012.
The University of Seville Library (BUS) consists of 17 libraries covering different areas – one of the most prominent is Health Sciences – and provides access to a rich and varied collection of more than 2 millon paper and electronic documents in multiple formats. Special mention has the Historical Collection, largely digitalized, with more than 76.000 documents.
BUS also offer a wide range of services that respond to the specific and changing needs of the digital environment in which we operate – see our portal http://bib.us.es – and dynamic and inclusive learning environments which has its paradigm in the CRAI model (Resource Centre for Learning and Research). Opened with extended hours BUS facilitates collaborative work, study and reflection in a highly technological environment.
