Fran O’Hara , Creative Director Scarlet Design & Visual Communications Expert
Fran O’Hara is Founder & Creative Director of Scarlet Design – a strategic thinking, design, training, and visual facilitation consultancy. 4 years with Disney in Hong Kong and Los Angeles disrupted Fran’s career path as a design manager, and opened up a world of strategic story-telling.
As an industry expert with 20+ years’ experience, with her team she creates visual tools which transform the way people and organisations work, and how stories are defined and communicated. Fran specialises in facilitation and engagement using visual methodology to help clients tell their stories – from hand-drawn to digital, and from small to giant scale. With organisations such as Academi Wales, WAST, Welsh Government, NHS Wales, NRW, Powys THB, Dwr Cymru, Barclays and Vodafone.
Armed with postgraduate qualifications in teaching and coaching, and 100s of pens, Fran actively creates opportunities to grow awareness, confidence and skills in visual storytelling. She has trained 400+ people in visual thinking, practice and methodology, providing skills to help people negotiate the current fast-paced, information-heavy workplace.
At the conference Fran and her team will be creating a giant Big Ideas Wall, capturing participants thoughts and ideas, similar to the Public Health Wales wall example.
