Comparing services of document delivery

The aim of this paper is to focus on the best-known services for document delivery.

Specific attention will be paid to aspects such as terms, fees, document supply time, original format, user-friendliness of the software when applied to requests and orders, technological platforms for electronic document delivery. The survey covers both commercial services and library based ones.

A questionnaire was devised to evaluate the extent and range of access to document delivery by librarians, who use both commercial and library/no profit document delivery services.
