THE EAHIL BOARD IS THINKING
OF......................... YOU!

... to join the team for the next term of office.

 The election committee, Gertie Veldman and Angélique Mattioli, invite you to nominate a colleague or to present yourself as a candidate in the elections for:

  • the EAHIL Presidency
  • EAHIL Board membership

All leaving officers (Manuela Colombi, Tony McSeán, Arne Jakobsson, Liisa Salmi, Alice Nørhede) are entitled for re-election, but only Tony and Arne are considering extension of their term of office.

Interested and nominated candidates are cordially invited to send a letter to the election committee (c/o EAHIL secretariat, ICP-NTI, P.O. Box 23213, NL-1100 DS Amsterdam, The Netherlands) stating explicitly their willingness to be a candidate for either President or Board member (there can be only one option for a candidate!!) accompanied by a short curriculum vitae and explaining their aims and plans for EAHIL.

NOMINATIONS ACCOMPANIED BY THE SIGNED AGREEMENT OF THE CANDIDATE AND C.V. MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE SECRETARIAT

NOT LATER THAN 1ST MARCH 2000.

The terms of office in the Council will end by 2001 for the following representatives:

Czech Republic: Jarmila Potomkova (eligible for re-election);
Ireland: Aidan Beatty (eligible);
Italy: Laura Cavazza (not eligible);
Sweden: Eva Alopaeus (eligible);|
Sweden: Ingrid Simmasgård (eligible);
Switzerland: Anna Schlosser (eligible).

These colleagues are invited to inform the election committee about their willingness to extend their term. Colleagues from these countries are invited to nominate candidates or present themselves as candidate for the Council, also before 1st March 2000!
When elected, all new Board and Council members will take office by 1st January 2001.

Results of the elections will be presented at the General Assembly in London.
