Valeria Scotti Biomedical Librarian at Scientific Documentation Service Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo of Pavia Email v.scotti@smatteo.pv.it ORCID: http://orcid.org/0000-0001-9240-2901   I have been working in the Scientific Documentation Service of the Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico S.Matteo of Pavia since 2009. In these years I participated as a lecturer in several courses on Bibliometric indicators and the main biomedical databases (PubMed, Embase, Web Of Science, Cinahl). I am the Italian member of the EAHIL Council (European Association for Health Information and Libraries) for the term 2019-2023 and co-chair of the EAHIL Sub group: EVALUATION AND METRICS GROUP. I collaborate with the Biometry and Statistics Unit in planning, conducting, and reporting systematic reviews and meta-analyses. I carry out bibliographic searches on the main medical databases for our physicians and nurses. I also promote library services through talks, live tutorials, and community events, and we assist library users in finding resources. I participated as a lecturer in various seminars, workshops, training, with presentations on Altmetrics, Bibliometrics, and Social Media arguments. In 2016 I have become an Altmetrics Ambassador and I attended all Altmetrics Conference. During this year, I have also become a team member of the European project call SUPPORT-E (SUPporting high-quality evaluation of COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma thrOughouT Europe), about the use of convalescent plasma in the hospitals, as a biomedical librarian.
