Two days of 16 hours active training exercises.
Course aims
This intensive course is designed to help you improve spoken English and build
the vocabulary needed for effective participation in the EAHIL conference. The
course also affords you an excellent opportunity to get to know other
conference attendees, share ideas and discuss professional issues.
Course content
The course provides opportunities for learning through discussion, listening,
reflection and reading. Depending on participant interest, it will address the
following skills:

English language skills (speaking practice; vocabulary development)

Presenting skills (e.g. handling audience questions; effective openings;
effective closings)

Chairing skills (e.g. introducing a speaker; chairing a question-and-answer
session; closing a session)
The content of the course will be shaped in consultation with the participants.

A two-day intensive course involving 12 contact hours
